We’re doing our best to keep this website updated, so stay tuned and thank you for your patience.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the new movie finally scheduled until the Tuesday before the Friday it begins. We hope soon to have these updates does faster for you.
Thank you for your support.
Love your new website. My family looks forward to checking the site weekly to see what will be playing. It’s nice to be able to take our family to the movies and a snack and not feel like we’re giving up a mortgage payment. Thanks for keeping your prices reasonable.
Hi Tony - First of all, let me say that most people do not like change (but change is necessary). Chris and I were surprised at the new site. The Crandell is a beautiful, historic building and there are no pictures of it!! The image at the top of the page is of a “modern” theater which just do not represent the image of The Crandell at all. Let’s have a couple of pictures of the theater, you and all the nice people you have working with you.
The red, white, yellow and blue are upbeat. Nice links also. Good tag line.
See you at the movies!
Pictures of the Crandell will be coming soon.
LOVE the new site!!!! Can’t wait to see where it goes…
The new website is GREAT! It’s colorful, well designed and easy to use. Nice job!
Nice new site layout! Thanks for keeping the Theatre affordable and enjoyable for all.
Tony,
Wow, what a nice suprise when I opened your new website. It’s easy to navigate and you want to spend time looking through it. You have a great movie theater and are a wonderful part of the fabric of Chatham that makes this such a great place to live.
Very user friendly and easy to access. Excellent!
Thanks for updating
We will always miss Tony. So many of our happiest memories are tied up with events at the Crandell, and with Tony himself. What a tremendous loss for our community, this unpretentious, kind, generous, and funny man.
When I read an email from my mother at 3am this morning regarding Tony’s passing, I thought I was having a dream. The Crandell Theater has been such a part of my life (and the lives of other kids who grew up in Chatham) that I couldn’t imagine our little town without it. Tony was always happy to cater to us teenagers, and he was always a pleasure to talk to.. even if our conversation went something like:
“One adult please.”
“That’ll be five dollars.”
“Thanks!”
Ever since I left Chatham for Indiana and Purdue, I’ve always grumbled at the fact that I cannot see a movie without emptying my wallet. We Chathamites have been spoiled for sure! Even though Tony isn’t there to give us our admission ticket and tell us to enjoy the show, we still need to uphold the Crandell Theater as one of Chatham’s landmark iconic buildings. After all, that’s what he would want.
Thank you, Tony.
