No quarrel with that.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Nor with Jet Li, Dolph Lundgrund, and Jason Statham doing their thing, i.e., inflicting mayhem on bad guys, or bad guy, played by eating, praying, and loving Julia Roberts&#8217; brother, Eric.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Mickey Rourke, Bruce Willis, and even the Governor of California show up for cameos.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>This is a film was guaranteed to make critics cringe, but that didn’t stop audiences, including women, from shelling out for tickets.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And actually<em>, </em>even <em>The New York Times</em> liked it, sort of.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>As A.O.
